"Old" PN Copybot v2.2.3.1- good sculpties copier
#1
Found this one in one of my archieves; it seems to be still working. Beauty is that you don't need a TPV check for it. The "Master" can log in via any legal viewer and have the bot perform all the dirty tasks Big Grin. The notecard with all the commands called "HowTo.txt" is also in.
Under Windows 7 it runs, but best from an external drive; somehow it doesn't like running from the main drive there. Also, there might be some editing necessary in the "accounts.xml" to get a valid IRC channel in. Looks like the PN channel became invalid Big Grin. You don't really need an IRC channel tho. it should run just fine without it.
I remember this version being pretty good in copying sculpties, without any problem. As far as I know, this was the latest working version they released.
Have some fun with it!

very cool feature
all you need is the particle to be running
the uuid of the prim its in
use your viewer for this bit
then type
exportparticles UUID

They should have an export particles feature on viewers, it sucks that they don't xD.
You can't handle the truth...

ah yes, good old copybot. i like this for bulk ripping textures from prims, some of the ripper viewers handle this a bit oddly.
i had some problems with the old binaries on win7 64bit, tho.
it would run and start ripping, but only write out the jp2's to disk, no tga's. this was easily fixed by recompiling it to target platform = x86, tho.
i'll upload if there's an interest in it, can't be bothered right now lol
but let me know if you need it and i'll sort it out Smile

Yep Fish, I actually like to have your recompiled version; having some probs with the version I posted under win7 64.

oh, and i'm not sure if this yields a false positive on your antivirus. the old binaries i had did, but hasn't complained about this one so far. anyway, it's not a virus, it's this meebey dll thingy for IRC, AV never likes IRC shit

Export particles on viewers? All it takes is someone to write the code for it.
I Quit

What is an anti-virus? Isn't that something you use to fix some of the Windows security problems? Big Grin

*NIX (Unix, Posix, Linux, MAC OS, etc.) runs the Internet and has NEVER had a virus/malware which has infected more than 800 machines!
