OLD [Viewer] DarkStorm v3.0.2 Windows and Linux
#31
Thanks for the update Wish
am I going crazy I cannot find the save to dae ?? I did a complete uninstall and deleted all the %appdata% stuff

oo think i found it under the save as Smile thanks again

Not sure if everyone knows this when you do a fresh install
if you load up darkstorm and set the pref's without logging in
after that if you log into SL with any of your avatar names you dont need to set the Pref's for each avatar as you have set the Default Pref's by setting before logging in

I hope it's a grade improvement from 2.8, which was good, but I found that the cache needed clearign very frequently, especially if the viewer is used on both SL and OpenSim. The viewer would stop working and suddenly close if the cache was too full. Some of this is undoutably inherited from the viewer's Firestorm heritage, as that too suffers from texture and other visusal glitches when used on both SL and OpenSim, though crashing is a less common occurrence.

I noticed that it is not possible to paste a folder as symlink with this version, that is, it is not possible to create a symbolic link to a folder. Previous version this was possible.

Also noticed textures are now saved as TGA files, even if I have set in Preferences to save them as PNG files.

How can I get a VIP key to unlock some of the features? Would be nice this info to be added to the initial post by Wish himself so we can be sure the money goes to him.

hmm ... is it me or the Multiperm feature is broken in this release?
And the Copy Asset UUID still doesn't work (i get a null key) though the asset UUID is visible in object properties Sad

- take objects on pie menus now on DS Menu->More->Take
- HPA import works
- OpenSim release with grid manager

I recommend not to use the previous v3.0 because it contains invalid code for viewer tags
hi Wish,

no, it does not work and I crash the client.
darkstom sometimes crashes even before logging

Thanks

Again, works very well with the exception of the estate menus which don't seem to work with any of the new releases of Firestorm. At least for me. However, for its intended purpose it works great. Thanks Wish.

Thanks Wish, awesome as always.... Only thing, the "Take" option is no longer in the pie menu, DS More has replaced its spot. Any idea how to fix this?
