I am wondering if there is a way to basically capture the visible frame you're seeing as a 3d model, with textures using this viewer? I have the basic viewer and when I try to export, I have a scene posed out that I want to bring into another program for composite and lighting, and everything comes in as a jumbled mess. Can the paid viewer render out a whole scene, or will it always import in jumbled?

So what I am gathering is when exporting a DAE it doesnt save the transform data from SL, so it comes out a jumbled mess that I'd have to put together to make a scene. Is there a setting that safely executes the transform data into Collada? Or even obj?

Gina_43 wrote a tool that can rebuild the .DAE from the cache of a copybot viewer after exporting as .XML.
You can not reach the section it is in yet, as you have not yet made it to the next user group.

!!!! Amazing! So its possible! Ive been at this for about 72 hours on and off trying to figure out how I can do this. The most optimal way would be to bring in my model from SL using the .dae! Thanks for letting me know!

Do you know if I pose my avatar in SL, and then save as a DAE, if it will import into 3d software posed as it is in SL?
