The viewer crashes as soon as I log into Opensim.
I havent tried it in SL yet.
Any ideas on how to fix this?

The codebase between SL and OpenSim have diverged significantly that a viewer targeted at SL will not work properly in OpenSim and vice-versa, despite apparent similarities on the surface level. And asking for an OpenSim-capable version of Revelator would be a bit much.

This is not truth.  Singularity on which Revelator is based has kept a OpenSim compatibility.  It's not perfect because of OpenSim make changes which don't get informed to the Singularity developers in a fast way and then has to be some catching up along with catching up when LL make changes, and then I have to catch up behind that, so there is some struggles in it, but there is some advantage on OpenSim too sometimes, for one the keytool still is working there but fail on LL grid since the HTTP switched over and I didn't find the fix yet.

For the crash report please more completely on the

thread, which OpenSim version, and make sure you running the latest build I put up of Revelator, also a cleared cache and test with more than one avatar in case it's some issue about that avatar.

SL banned? Search 'technitium', 'MAC changer', 'serial changer', 'ban evasion', 'VPN', 'IP ban', 'hardware ban'.

Shapes in XML have started ending up in the Lost and Found folder instead of in a folder named for the avatar they came from, and I haven't had time to find out why yet, but they do import.  you import the XML same as always has been done.

oml. This was driving me nuts, thinking that it wasn't uploading and I was just doing something wrong. lol

I do hope you understand that we just don't use DarkStorm anymore in SL; your security software's analysis of DarkStorm, as it stands, is a series of false alarms -- it's perfectly safe to use in OpenSim provided you've downloaded it from this forum.

NB: If I were you, I'd spend more time on working on bring up your -2 rep into a more respectable range, like ZERO rather that waste your time with throwing shade on a tried and tested viewer. A member since 2016 and that's all you've got to show for it, -2?
