It works on my system.  At any rate if you can't get the ones you have to work, try these in my post on a thread about this: Guests cannot see links in the messages. Please register to forum by clicking here to see links.

If you can't get those to work, with Run as Administrator, then don't let windows 10 be the issue.  Go download the image for Hiren's Boot CD, Bart's WinPE or some similar thing, a bootable portable Windows, that can run from a CD/DVD or a USB stick, boot that, and run the changer in it.  I'm pretty sure Hiren's has a changer included in it already but if not run one of the ones you have or one from my linked post.

Linux reports id0 and MAC.  It will not be the same id0 because it is booting from a different partition, but it will be the same MAC.  I'm sure there are Linux softwares to change those things but I haven't bothered with them so you'll have to do your own searching if you need that stuff.

Again, Thank you very much for your help and patience, Flagg.

As for Linux   That was just a curiosity.  Been running Linux for years but never went into those settings.

I got both the Mac and the HD serial changer running, the 29th try was the charm for the HD.  Changed the "Volume Serial Number" and the Mac was changed on my WiFi adapter.  I can see the changes in the viewer.  I am also using ExpressVPN now, that also shows a Mac which changes with each connected service.
I made a test avi this morn to test if all this works on FS.
The pisser is now that this is Rollout Tuesday and I can't even log in to try FS just sits there at logging in.

Singu still has some major bugs that were never addressed before the demise of the original developer. (looking at their JIRA)  Inventory and the Outfits section still is totally borked with know bugs.   Plus, I don't think Singu has ever taken the merge yet for HTTP texture and Inventory Get in its last alpha release which is killing the download of mesh and some textures.  It still seems to be still using UDP.  Pretty sure they did not get that change into the last Alpha.  It's a shame since Singularity is a nice lightweight viewer for laptops.  Some Mesh takes at least 5 to 15 mins to load.  I'm blaming some of that on the VPN connection.
I used to hang out at the TPV meetings before I got whacked, and the last time I was there they were talking about Singu being pulled from the TPV list since they were not keeping up with Linden's ordained protocols.  Linden still has a few old morons there running and ruining the show since Philip's demise.

Singularity is a lot farther along in the alphas than you think. You need to go look at the changelogs. HTTP asset fetching has been in the alphas since alpha 6961, and they are now at 6994. The posted build of Revelator which you and everyone has also has it because I built that against alpha 6966 build. There's a lot of things been fixed since then that my posted build doesn't have, and I have to wait yet a bit to post another Revelator because I want to get the bakes on mesh in. Far as the jira a lot of things get fixed that just nobody bothers to close the jira, but the commit history tells it when a fix was put in because of a jira ticket. Part of the slow mesh loading is that they're still on an ancient buggy curl version, which I recompiled upward to the last point release of the 1.0 series for Revelator but it's still would be better with the latest curl 1.1x, which I hope they catch up to in the alphas soon.

SL banned? Search 'technitium', 'MAC changer', 'serial changer', 'ban evasion', 'VPN', 'IP ban', 'hardware ban'.

Thanks again, Flagg

Yep waiting for the Bakes on Mesh too.
Some good news for once.  Did a Mac clone in DD-WRT on my Belkin router which forced an IP change on my ISP.  Not only a complete change but also shoes a different city.  Guessing that is good news.  I am still on ExpresVPN for now.  I took it on a month by month.
I am still a bit paranoid here.   This totally SUCKS...   Sad
Still having to look over my shoulder to see if a linden is standing there with a sawed-off shotgun ready to waste me again.   lol
Now if I could only upload mesh again.  Still trying to figure a way so I don't get hit via setting up a payment method. They want that for uploading mesh.  Got the funding figured out sort of thanks to a PM iI received.  Just being able to get back to some normalcy would be nice.  If you can call normal being in a Virtual World.
No offense Flagg,  I still miss my FS.  Just spoiled here.   But, I feel safer using Revelator even though I got t the  HardDrive ID changed out and Technitium now works.

Pulled out my Foil Hat over a week ago and wears it shamefully

Ok, Hopefully, one last paranoia question.....

Media/Music... Is that safe to watch or listen to? Can I activate it in the viewer without getting whacked again?

When you connect to a media server you aren't connecting to a LL host, you're connecting to whatever host the stream is coming from. However having said that, the viewer has very limited control over what information can get sent to the host. The internal bits of the viewer will report whatever the spoofing is set to but I don't know what all system plugins might be accessible to the viewer's browser components. Those should only be able to report whatever the operating system can report, but one way to figure all that out better would be to open one of those browser fingerprinting kind of websites with the viewer's internal browser and see what it has to say, if you don't like it don't use media.
